This park is built around the main attraction: Lake Tawakoni. RV sites and cabins are positioned so the marina, pier, and shoreline are always close at hand. In fact, you can get from your RV to your boat in less than 5 seconds! Take a walk down to the water, launch from the park’s shared shoreline, or head straight to your slip and get going.

If your primary goal is to spend your days on the lake, you’ve come to the right place! You’ll have easy access to onsite slips, launch options, and marina passes right here at the park. And after a long day on the water, you can settle in back at camp with our resort-style amenities including full-hookups, clean bathhouses, laundry facilities, propane, a mailroom, and onsite management. There’s a strong sense of community here, too! Shared spaces like the outdoor kitchen, community grill, and pet park naturally bring people together, and planned activities throughout the year like bingo nights and holiday potlucks give you ample opportunities to get to know your neighbors.
Lake Tawakoni & the Surrounding Area
Lake Tawakoni is one of North Texas’s most active fishing lakes and a consistent host for large tournaments, including Bass Champs. The lake is popular for bass, catfish, and crappie, with wide water access that supports both competitive fishing and recreational boating. At 429 Marina & Resort, your boat, slip, and launch access are already in place and you can quickly reach some of the lake’s most active areas including Waco Bay, the 2 Mile Bridge, White Point Causeway, and Kitsee Inlet.
